Destination Death!!!

Year 10 and 11 students of both French and German have been "dicing with death" in the BBC Bitesize online role-playing game "DESTINATION DEATH".

In this exciting and slightly macabre scenario, you are alone in a deserted airport, looking for clues as to the whereabouts of your sister, piecing together clues and gathering useful items to assist you in your progress.

The multiple-choice format of the game means that, although most of the answers are fairly obvious, the player is also presented with other useful GCSE-level vocabulary (such as "mon hamster s'appelle Fuego"!!!).

I won't give the ending away...but you might want to pack a nice sharp stake and some extra-strong garlic!

Monday afternoon

my first entry from actually IN SCHOOL- up to now have all been from home...

Spent last 40 minutes of Y10's German lesson navigating our way around a very creepy, Sin City-inspired airport, on BBC Bitesize's "Destination Death". The clever thing is, the wrong answers are in fact the things that stick in your head!
